Camp Oak Hill is a non-denominational Christian camp whose mission is to share and model the love of Jesus Christ through intentional relationships while providing safe, challenging and joy-filled experiences.

Campers will grow their confidence as they experience awesome activities and programs suited to their interests and abilities, make amazing friendships as they unplug from the distractions of technology, and experience the love and teachings of Jesus Christ as they grow their faith through daily devotions, stories, and discussions led by our carefully selected staff.

Camp Oak Hill’s programs are open to children in the grades specified below without regard to race, color, national origin, limited disabilities, or religious preference.

Session 1: Elementary/ Middle School Week

June 12-17

For rising 2nd-8th graders. This week is the classic one-week Camp Oak Hill experience. It is sure to be the highlight of their summer.

Session 3: Youth Week

June 26-July 1

Two Week Youth Super Session

June 26-July 8

For rising 7th-9th graders. Come and see the best our camp has to offer with this ultimate two-week Camp Oak Hill experience. Campers experience the traditions of camp and have epic activities specific to their age.

Advanced Camper Experience (ACE): Two Week Session

June 26-July 8

For rising 10th and 11th graders who wish to begin learning about servant leadership and about developing and strengthening their commitment to Christ. Campers will experience off-site adventures in addition to our traditional camp experience, including an overnight stay at a lodge coupled with an outdoor education experience and a high ropes adventure course. Additionally, an off-site tubing trip will be taken on the Tar River. This is an application-based program.

For rising 2nd-6th graders. The classic one-week Camp Oak Hill experience tailored for our younger campers. Programs and activities are adjusted to fit their capabilities and needs. A great introduction to the best week of their life.

Servant Leadership Training (SLT): Two Week Session

July 10-22

For rising 12th graders who are interested in developing leadership skills for camp and the world beyond. These campers will have the opportunity to cultivate future tense thinking; character-driven decision making; ownership of biblical values; and a commitment to influence through service. This program includes servant leadership workshops, a three-day backpacking trip to the Grayson Highlands State Park and life-application based activities to implement the skills acquired in addition to participation in and leadership of traditional camp programming. This is an application-based program.

Session 7: Youth Week

July 24-29

For rising 7th-12th graders. This one-week session offers the traditions of Camp Oak Hill, while providing epic activities specific to their age. This session is a great way to cap off your summer, whether you came to a previous session or want a week of camp before starting back to school!

  • A: Registration for 2022 Summer Camp Sessions will be open at 8:30AM October 1, 2021!
  • Q: What is your cancellation/refund policy?

  • Q: What do you mean by “rising INSERT GRADE”
  • A: The grade your child will be going into after summer 2021 is the grade your child is “rising into”. Example: if your child is currently in 2nd grade this (2022-2023) school year, then they will be a “rising 3rd grader” this summer.
  • Q: If I pre-registered my camper, when will that payment be applied to my camper’s account?
  • A: Your pre-registration payment will be applied to your camper’s account once you register online and pick which session of camp they will attend.
  • Q: I have more questions about registration, who should I ask?

  • Q: Do you offer scholarships for summer camp?
  • A: Yes! We offer what we call “Camperships” to many deserving families each year. This is made possible through many generous donors (learn more about how you can partner to #GrowCOH). The application for camperships is available and accessible via this page.

COH CANCELLATION POLICY FOR SUMMER CAMP 2022

  • NO camper is considered registered for either the session or the session rate at the time of their enrollment without payment of the $150 deposit.
  • YOU MUST PAY THE DEPOSIT TO BE CONSIDERED REGISTERED. NOT PAYING THE DEPOSIT MAY RESULT IN AN INCREASE IN THE SESSION PRICE AND/OR HAVING YOUR CAMPER PLACED ON THE
    WAITING LIST.
  • ALL Deposits are non-refundable as stated on the registration website.
  • Balance of camp fees are due by April 30th, 2022. We reserve the right to remove any camper from their session if the balance is not received by that date.
  • If a family needs to move their registration to a different camp session in 2022, a transfer of both the deposit and camp fees will be allowed on a space available basis. Any cost difference (example: one-week session vs two-week session) will be reimbursed or charged at the time of the transfer.
  • If a family needs to cancel their registration, they can do so prior to May 25th and receive a refund of camp fees (not including deposit). After that date, we have already begun staff training and are unable to provide refunds unless for illness.
  • If a camper cannot attend camp due to illness, the balance of their camp fees (not including deposit) will be refundable after a health care provider’s documentation has been provided. Camp Oak Hill reserves the right to refuse any camper exhibiting signs of communicable illness or who has not completed our 10-day health screening form

If Camp Oak Hill has to cancel a session, families will have the following options:

  • Donate all or a portion of their camp fees (not including deposit) to Camp Oak Hill to help offset the financial impact of cancelling a session.
  • Transfer their registration to a different session on a space available basis of the same duration for 2022 or 2023.
  • Receive a refund of camp fees for summer 2022. Please be reminded that deposits are non-refundable.
