“Lord, please make an impact…”, I prayed that summer day in 1998 after dropping off my oldest son for the first time at Camp Oak Hill. Little did I know how much God would touch my whole family through this ministry. You see, it’s been 15 years since then, which overall means 18 sessions of camp, 1 counselor season, 1 year board membership, 11 years on staff… all from that “little prayer”. Wow! Had no idea what God had in store! How thankful I am that God has used Camp Oak Hill to be part of my journey with Him. What a privilege it is to serve where you experience the life-changing love of Christ. After all, it’s “just a summer camp”…
